The Price Is Right Debuts New Game Back to ’72
The newest game asks contestants to price items from the show's first year.
On Tuesday The Price Is Right debuted its newest pricing game…its 77th game in current rotation. The limited time game (exclusively for this season) is “Back to ’72”. Contestants are quizzed on their pricing knowledge of items from the show’s first season on the air. Each contestant is shown up to three prizes, each with their own price range. They dial in their guess and then the actual value is revealed. Collectively between the three prizes the contestant must be within $50 of the actual prices. If they can guess all three prizes and the differences not total $50 or more they’ll win the bonus prize.
