Hollywood Game Night Renewed for Third Season

NBC has renewed the party game show hosted by Emmy Award-winner Jane Lynch

The celebrities, party games, and booze are coming back. NBC has officially renewed its popular game show Hollywood Game Night for a third season. Ten episodes have been ordered for the next run.

Lynch said, “I am so excited to get back to the gaming and to more crazy antics from America’s favorite celebrated persons!” Each episode sees two contestants play fast-paced and funny games with celebrities for a shot to win up to $25,000.

Hollywood Game Night averaged a 1.5 18-49 demographic rating and five million viewers overall during the 2013-2014 television season. What really helps keep the show afloat is a 106 index on adults 18-49 with $100K+ income homes. Rich people watching will keep a modestly rated show afloat. Look at Seinfeld‘s early life.
