Raven-Symoné and LeVar Burton Named Hosts of Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit for CW
Trivial Pursuit and Scrabble are coming to television in brand new versions. Read about them!
CW is setting its own night of fun and games this fall. The network has announced the launches of the long-in-the-making Trivial Pursuit game show, hosted by LeVar Burton. Raven-Symoné has been named the host of Scrabble, a more straight adaptation of the board game rather than the iconic 1980’s Chuck Woolery game show. The shows will air at 8:00PM ET and 9:00PM ET, respectively, on Mondays on CW this fall.
Trivial Pursuit, hosted by LeVar Burton, is reimagined in a question-packed entertainment format. Gameplay takes place on a giant version of the iconic Trivial Pursuit game board, as contestants battle it out over a range of play-along question categories to win wedges and beat each other to the center. The victor then takes on a finale against the clock to claim the big money jackpot.
In each episode of Scrabble, hosted by Raven-Symoné, wordsmiths battle it out over a series of addictive word games of skill and strategy to win points and master a giant Scrabble board in the center of the set.
Also on CW’s fall schedule is Whose Line is it Anyway?, in its 13th season. The show will air Fridays at 8:00PM ET.
