Game Show Network Revives Tic Tac Dough
The classic game show Tic Tac Dough is coming back and is looking for contestants.
After a very successful season and a half of Split Second, Game Show Network is going back into the archives for another reboot. The network has begun casting for a revival of the classic quiz show Tic Tac Dough. The show will begin taping around April 2024 in Los Angeles. Tic Tac Dough originally ran from 1956 to 1959, followed by the more-known revival from 1978 to 1986. Various attempts to bring the show back have kicked over the years, including an unsold 2021 pilot hosted by Tom Bergeron. Game Show Network’s version seems to be following that pilot’s look and feel, though it is unknown if Bergeron will return.
The show sees two contestants try to answer questions to claim squares and get Tic-Tac-Dough on the large game board. In this new incarnation the day’s champion has a chance to win $10,000 in the bonus round.
