The Cube US Renewed for Second Season
The Cube is back!
American audiences will get another opportunity to see if they have what it takes to beat The Cube. The popular game, based on the British series, has been renewed by TBS for a second season. Dwyane Wade will return as host. Casting has been going on for quite some time and they are filming currently in Atlanta.
The biggest change seems to be the return of the “Trial Run” lifeline. After contestants beat the $20,000 game they are given a “Trial Run” which gives them a free try at the game. No penalty for failing, but no reward for succeeding. The contestants must then decide to play for real or walk away.
