“Hollywood Game Night” Gets Christmas Special December 2nd

One of the summer's most popular unscripted shows, Hollywood Game Night, is currently taping its second series for the Summer season.  However, you won't have to wait long to see a new episode.  NBC has announced a special Holiday edition of the Jane Lynch-hosted game show for December 2nd at 10:00PM ET.  It gets a very coveted post-The Voice time slot.  Ray Romano, Cheryl Hines, Gavin DeGraw, Rachel Bilson, Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker will all play various games with two civilian contestants to win up to $25,000 (and some money for their charities).  A full season of the show begins in 2014.  Looking forward to the show's return?

If you're not watching NBC's Hollywood Game Night, Thursdays at 10:00PM ET on NBC, you're really missing it.  It's one of the most genuinely fun and flat-out enjoyable games on broadcast television in a long time.  If you haven't seen it, host Jane Lynch plays a series of party games with two teams of three celebrities and a civilian on each side.  The person with the most points gets to play for $25,000 in the bonus round.  One of the funnier games is, "Lil' Picassos."  In the game kids draw or recreate pictures of various celebrities and, though clues given by Jane, the players must guess the identity.  Some of the pictures are very well done.  Some images...good luck guessing.  Click here to look at a preview of tonight's episode and let us know if you got it quicker than the players.

NBC Casting for “Hollywood Game Night”

Back in December NBC announced the eight-episode order of the new game show Hollywood Game Night.  Produced by actor Sean Hayes (Will & Grace), each show, based on Sean’s real life game nights, sees two regular contestants transported to an A-list celebrity game night. At the end of each show one of the two contestants will leave with a cash prize. The series will feature celebrities from the world of TV, movies, sports, and more.  The winner could leave with up to $25,000 and some great stories about partying with the A-list. NBC is now casting for the first season of Hollywood Game Night.  If you're a pop culture trivia whiz, the life of the party, and outgoing...and of course want a chance at $25,000 and to visit a celebrity party...you'll want to apply. Click here to learn how to apply and potentially pick up $25,000.
