There aren't very many game show jackpots on the scale of Millionaire's money chain left.  However, in 2012, the final great, elusive game show jackpot went off, and that's what you voted as the most memorable moment of 2012.  Click here to read and watch what you voted as number one, plus read an exclusive quote from executive producer Adam Adler.

“The Cube” Champion Mo Farah Wins 10,000m Gold at London 2012 Olympics

It's a pretty slow news weekend but it gives me an excuse to show the video off again.  If you managed to find London 2012 Olympic events on TV that didn't involve trampoline or power walking then you may have seen some great games last night like some excellent soccer matches, a close US basketball game, and the 10,000m race.  Mo Farah, the only person so far to beat ITV's The Cube, won gold at the event last night, beating Galen Rupp by half a second.  To say the reaction of Team GB fans was exuberant is an understatement.  Take a look at Mo's winning Cube moment as well as an interview with Mo celebrating his gold medal.  Click here to watch both.

Mo Farah Becomes First Person to Beat “The Cube”; Wins £250,000

The last great game show jackpot has finally been won.  Mo Farah, the British international track and field athlete, and current 5000m world champion, has become the first person ever to beat ITV's The Cube and collect the £250,000 jackpot.  Mo beat The Cube with six lives remaining.  He had seven lives going into the jackpot game, an unheard of total for this tough show.  Having practically no difficulty on any game, The Cube chose Barrier, where he must walk over three uneven spaced and positioned bars, as his final game.  For the first time ever host Phillip Schofield joined Mo inside The Cube to celebrate the win.  No one has beaten The Cube in 44 episodes since it began in August 2009.  Three others before, though, have made it to the jackpot game.  No one but Mo has gone for it.  Click here to watch the big win and to read more about it.  You don't want to miss this.  It's a moment to remember.

The Cube is back and if you're a fan, I really wouldn't want to miss this upcoming special.  Phillip Schofield returns with a special "Gold Medallist" pair of episodes, where some of England's gold medal hopefuls take on The Cube to try to win £250,000 and be the first person to actually beat it.  Coming up on the 21st at 7:30PM UK (2:30PM ET) are former world record holder and gold medallist Fatima Whitbread and world champion hurdler Dai Greene. However, tomorrow, July 14th, current 5000 metre world champion Mo Farah takes on The Cube.  There's been a lot of press about this episode which I hope you've avoided.  Trust me...I wouldn't want to miss tomorrow.  We'll have more updates on what happens on Sunday.

“The Cube” Returns With Big Money on the Line

“The Cube” Returns to ITV Today at 9:15PM Thumbnail

“The Cube” Returns to ITV Today at 9:15PM

The Cube is back.  The award winning psychological and physical game show, hosted by Phillip Schofield, returns for a new series of episodes today, April 14th, at 9:15PM on ITV1.  Just seven games stand between one player and £250,000.  No one has won it in the show's three year history.  Will this be the year someone finally beats The Cube?  You won't want to miss it and be assured we'll cover it all.  We've dropped our tongue-in-cheek title "The British are Better Than Us" since we spun off to BuzzerUK and BuzzerUS, but, from an American perspective, few shows prove that title more true than The Cube.  It's produced nearly as perfectly as they can.  It hit a small snag last series due to unusually hard opening games which stopped too many people dead in their tracks, but I think we'll be moving around that easily this series.  Don't miss it.  Check us out tomorrow and/or Monday for the latest on the show.
