Sorry for being out the past few days. But we're back and there's a lot going on. Let's start with a recap video today, though. One of The Price is Right's most interesting games is "Pay the Rent." Our contestant from this week, Reeshemah, is getting awfully close to winning it. Do we have the first winner? Click here to watch, read our thoughts, and let us know what you think.

It's safe to assume everyone knows the rules to the Showcase Showdown on The Price is Right. It's practically the same across the world just with bonus prize differences. Spin $1.00 in a combination of one or two spins and you win $1,000. You then get a bonus spin where you can win $10,000 extra for landing on $0.05 or $0.15...or $25,000 for getting the dollar again. It's not easy and that's why the prize is so big. Yesterday had a pretty unique Showdown. Two contestants got dollars in their first spins and won the grand. They face an interesting decision now. Do they risk not going to the Showcases to win one of the two bonus prizes, or go for one of the higher amounts and get a better chance at playing for tens of thousands of dollars in prizes? Will both score big on the wheel? Click here to check out the record breaking Showcase Showdown.

You're probably not going to win a brand new car. You're probably not going to win a $20,000 cash prize. And, in all likelihood, you're not going to be called by announcer Andy Martello to "come on down!" If you come in accepting all of these things, The Price Is Right Live, a touring stage show based on the long-running CBS game show hosted by Todd Newton, is a heck of a lot of fun. I attended the 9:30 PM Friday night show at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. They did four shows over two days, selling out a 3,000-seat theatre each time, showing how popular the prospect of seeing Price is in the mid-Michigan area. My party and I were provided tickets for the program and we all had a lot of fun with a reasonable facsimile of the Price Is Right experience. (Where else are you going to see Snoop Dogg yell out to a group of people "who here got birds?" to price a bag of bird seed?) This year should be no different. Celebrities play with civilian partners on every pricing game, with the value of the prizes the civilians win matched in cash to be given to the celebrity's chosen charitable organization.
