GSN Announces Launch Date for “Mind of a Man”

GSN is stepping back into the half-hour game show business with its newest original Mind of a Man.  The series, hosted by DeRay Davis, will debut Wednesday, January 8th, at 8:00PM ET.  Each episode of Mind of a Man sees two female contestants try to figure out how a panel of 100 men answered questions about dating, working, marriage, and more.

A celebrity panel will help the contestants get into the mind of a man and one person will walk away with thousands of dollars.  Mind of a Man comes from 51 Minds Entertainment, who successfully produced Cram for two seasons in 2003 and Extreme Dodgeball for three seasons in 2004.  This is GSN’s first half-hour original since The Pyramid.  Forty episodes have been ordered.

Interesting… seems like GSN likes dating shows again, with this, and It Takes a Church…

    • The Chaser says:

This isn’t a dating show though. It’s kind of a survey/panel style quiz. I’ll give it a look.

At the same time, I hope GSN doesn’t delve too much into shows like this.

Looks a little like Love Me Love Me Not. It’s worth a shot.

  • Tyler says:

    I’m definitely not watching this.

  • I want to see what the gameplay will look like some. I think it could possibly be interesting. As long as they have decent to great celebrities, the game is fun, the contestants are exciting as well. This could be interesting. I will check it out to see if this will be any good.

Geared to the ‘man’s mind’ suggests that the female contestants will be required to wear either spandex or low cut on top!
‘Minute to Win It’ is the worst culprit. One of the only faults in this game was the ridiculous way the way the young, well-endowed, shapely young women seemed to be the only ones that performed better in spandex bottoms and sports bras, while men, older women, and younger women of…’girth’ were always fully clothed, nothing tight, and never an exposed midriff!
Hopefully, this new game show will focus more on the entertainment of the show, and leave ‘over exposure’ for the internet!
