The Banker Says Not to Watch “Deal or No Deal” Today. So You Should Probably Watch.

Channel 4′s Deal or No Deal is still looking for its first male quarter millionaire almost nine years after its debut.  Five women have done it but no male has been able to drop the confetti.  Is that about to change today?  The Banker has been tweeting up a storm recently, saying, “Please stop speculating. Nothing special happens tomorrow. NOTHING, ” and much more.  We’ve been down this road before.  At minimum it’s going to be an extremely exciting episode.  However, could we finally have the first male to break the bank?  The show has released a teaser.  Watch at your own risk, but it’ll be an exciting one.

It’s actually almost eight years, rather than almost nine – the first episode was October 31, 2005.

Nevertheless, an extraordinary period to wait for what is allegedly on the cards today. Nearly 1,200 men have played prior to today! It’s not even been just about women taking more risks – we’ve had US-style huge gambles for the jackpot lost, we’ve had some who’d have done the same if they had the right board, and then there was one man a few years ago who looked locked in to chase the £250k before suddenly being overwhelmed by his 5-box offer and dealing…

Even if we have an idea of the destination, this is going to be a fun journey. And we’ve had many fake spoilers in the last couple of years.

Now if only someone would post that episode for us poor Yanks via the usual dark arts.

Don, you can catch some clips on Youtube. The answer to this one has already been revealed on there and on Twitter… What a game….
