TeenNick Announces Game Show Week on “The ’90s Are All That”

This is slightly new news to me but TeenNick still has their block of 90s shows called “The ’90s Are All That.”  For the most part they’ve stuck with their sitcoms and cartoons from that decade, it seems.  People around here may want to look for the channel and tune in soon, though.  Starting Monday, August 5th, the network has announced a special 90s game show week.  Some of your favorite Nickelodeon game shows will be on nightly for four nights.  August 5th sees the return of Family Double Dare.  August 6th is Global Guts.  August 7th is Figure It Out, and August 8th is the return of fan-favorite Legends of the Hidden Temple.  Be sure to hunt down the channel and check it out.

That’s one I’d LOVE to see on 90s Are All That, but so far they’ve yet to even acknowledge the show’s existence. (Check out the ads they’ve done over the past two years; not a single frame of NA is in there.)

My guess is that the show is harder to clear for reruns thanks to the heavy use of video footage, especially the music videos.

YAY!!!! And a heads up for the weekend, they did a tournament of 90′s Nick on their Facebook page and Legends of the Hidden Temple won it, and if I read it correctly, they are going to air an hour of Legends on this Saturday night.

  • Patrick says:

Apparently from what I heard, it’s only 1 episode a night, meaning 1 episode of Double Dare then All That, Rugrats, and Hey Arnold. If that’s the case, then Viacom and Nickelodeon obviously don’t care for their viewing audience. They need to remember that it’s because of people like me and everyone from the 80′s and 90′s that watched put them on the map, not a stupid sponge.

^If this schedule is accurate, there won’t be any full episodes at all. Just moments and highlights of shows in between commercials.

And very likely they’ll be the same episodes they’ve aired previously (way back who-knows-when they started the block)
