Weekend Replay: The Banker Raps on “Deal or No Deal”
OK it’s a delayed Weekend Replay but I think losing an hour of sleep gives us leeway. The Banker from Channel 4′s Deal or No Deal has always been a mysterious character. Little is known about him. Even less has been heard beyond the occasional laugh through the speaker of the phone. What would be one of the few times we get to hear The Banker speak? Why not during a rap? One of the contestants this week is a pretty good rapper and showed his skills along the Walk of Wealth. The Banker couldn’t let that go without joining in.
Take a look. The touches of personality and fun, mixed in with some of the most tense moments in game shows anywhere, continue to make Deal or No Deal fun to watch thousands of episodes later.
Its a shame that US DoND is off the air (excluding the GSN reruns). This would have been awesome for the US Banker.
Can’t think of a word to rhyme with baker? There are 16 G-rated words he could have used:
