Stars Announced for the 2013 Celebrity Week on “The Price Is Right”
TV Guide announced today the list of participants in The Price Is Right‘s second Celebrity Week, where famous faces in the media play for their favorite charity. This year’s week will run from Monday, February 18th to Friday, February 22nd. Last year’s program, for the most part, was a very entertaining affair. (Where else are you going to see Snoop Dogg yell out to a group of people “who here got birds?” to price a bag of bird seed?) This year should be no different. Celebrities play with civilian partners on every pricing game, with the value of the prizes the civilians win matched in cash to be given to the celebrity’s chosen charitable organization. Here’s this year’s roster of celebrities:
Monday, February 18: Nick and Drew Lachey (from 98 Degrees and various TV programs) play for Camp Joy
Tuesday, February 19: NeNe Leakes (Real Housewives of Atlanta, The New Normal) plays for Saving Our Daughters
Wednesday, February 20: Sharon Osbourne (The Talk) plays for The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program
Thursday, February 21: Charles Barkley (NBA Hall of Famer) plays for The Mustard Seed School
Friday, February 22: Demi Lovato (Pop star, judge on The X Factor) plays for Free the Children
Again, Price has wrangled up a very recognizable list of celebrities playing for their favorite charities. What do you think of the lineup? Will you be tuning in?

I am actually impressed with this lineup of celebrities. I think that this has the potential to be better than last year.

OK…I’m not looking forward to anyone in this mess but Charles Barkley. He’s always good for some laughs.
