“Wheel of Fortune” and Disney Team for “Making Disney Memories Week”

America’s favorite game show and the “Most Magical Place on Earth” are teaming up and you could benefit.  Disney and Wheel of Fortune are joining forces for a special “Making Disney Memories Week” starting January 28th.

The show’s set will feature three famous Disney scenes including “Sleeping Beauty Castle,” “Cinderella Castle” and the Disney Dream® Cruise Ship.  Disney is also providing iconic elements from the Disney parks including a Disney teacup from the “Mad Tea Party” attractions, Lightning McQueen from the new Cars Land at Disney California Adventure® Park, a pirate ship from “Peter Pan’s Flight” and a Dumbo car from “Dumbo, the Flying Elephant.”  Not only that, Pat Sajak and Vanna White will be greeted on set by Disney characters.

Contestants during Wheel‘s “Making Disney Memories Week” can win vacations to Disney parks or cruise lines.  Cars available through the 1/2 Car Tag elements are provided by Honda and Chevrolet, who sponsor Disneyland and Disney World, respectively.  Contestants also stand the chance at winning over $1,000,000 in cash as always, though.

Home viewers get a chance to win during the week as well.  The show will start the “Wheel of Fortune Making Memories Sweepstakes.”  Viewers are encouraged to watch Wheel every show and enter the day’s bonus puzzle at Wheel‘s website.  Ten winners will each receive a vacation for four to the winner’s choice of the Disneyland Resort in California or Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.  A co-branded minisite will be accessible at WheelOfFortune.com that will feature links to various Disney websites as well as photo and video galleries from Vanna’s shoots.
