“Millionaire” Updates: “American Pickers” on US Version February 1st; ITV Schedules New UK Celebrity Shows
Who Wants to be a Millionaire (or Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? in England for some reason) has some special celebrity shows coming up. Whether you live in the United States or the United Kingdom you’ll see some stars play to win a million for charity. Here’s a rundown of what to expect wherever you are.
*The US syndicated version, hosted by Meredith Vieira, will welcome History’s American Pickers stars Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz to the million dollar table on Friday, February 1st. They’ll be playing for America’s Vetdog, an organization that provides assistance dogs and training to disabled veterans and active service members. They’ll be guaranteed at least $10,000 but see how far they can go. The show sees Wolfe and Fritz traveling the country looking for hidden gems and collectables. While backstage on Millionaire, though, they unearthed an iconic piece of Millionaire history…one that has not been seen in four years. Here’s a sneak peek of the show.
*ITV has announced new episodes of the celebrity edition of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. The episodes will record on February 11th and 12th at 6:30PM and 5:45PM, respectively.
