GSN Announces Premiere Date for Season Two of “American Bible Challenge”
When you have a hit on your hands as massively as GSN does with The American Bible Challenge, it makes sense to get the word out as early as possible about its return. As a show that was renewed before its first season was finished, GSN is trying to churn out more success as quickly as possible. During its Bible marathon yesterday, the network announced the premiere date for the upcoming season. The next nine-episode tournament is scheduled to begin airing on Thursday, March 21st, in time to kick off the spring schedule. The show begins taping next month, so clearly GSN is trying to get all of their ducks in a row as quickly as possible to continue the success with a second season of American Bible Challenge. Jeff Foxworthy will remain as host and the program is expected to stay much the same for the next batch of episodes. Thanks to reader Scott R. for the tip.

No comments 3 days in? After the previous hubbub about “It will never draw enough ratings”? I’m surprised. I’m still hoping for Pyramid to somehow get a second chance as well, but I don’t know if the quiet over that is a good thing or bad thing at this point.
