David Luea Wins $50,000 on “Let’s Ask America”
I didn’t think we’d see this happening: the jackpot went off on Let’s Ask America yesterday. David Luea, a campaign manager from Boston, MA, became the first person to take home the full $50,000 prize on the syndicated survey quiz hosted by Kevin Pereira. David answered all eight main game questions correct to win $10,000. Then, in the final round, David gambled all of his money to multiply it by five. His final question asked, “Which bachelor habit did engaged women say they most want their fiance to give up?” Aided by his girlfriend Lisa he correctly answered “Video Game Marathons” and scored the show’s top prize.
Did you not get a chance to see it yesterday? Take a look below.
Fantastic win by David. Congratulations. It’s always a good way to start the news day with a giant win.

Wow, that’s amazing. I know someone played a near perfect game a few weeks back and won $49,000, but I certainly never thought someone could play a completely perfect game. Those two wins prove Let’s Ask America isn’t stingy show that tries to obscure questions to control the budget (cough Price is Right cough Who Wants to be a Millionaire cough Family Feud cough)and contestants only have themselves to blame if they don’t win big. I hope it gets syndicated to my market soon since I din’t get to see all the action on Youtube.
Congratulations, David! Wishing you and Lisa nothing but happiness!
Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments!
