News Flashes for Wednesday, October 31st
Good morning, everyone. It’s been a weird few days around here for everyone because of the hurricane and other things, so there has not only been no news but really no time to write about the lack of news. We want to be sure to keep you informed, though, and let you know about some stuff going on.
*One of our favorite new shows, the syndicated Let’s Ask America, is having a Halloween special today. Host Kevin Pereira will dress as Uncle Sam with the contestants, all playing from home via Skype, will also dress up. One of them could win up to $50,000. Check out some episodes by clicking here if you haven’t seen it yet. It’s a really fun, enjoyable that I hope gets a shot to stick around next year.
*ITV is getting in the inane celebrity diving show spirit with the announcement of Splash!. The show, featuring popular Olympic Tom Daley, sees celebrities learning to dive with the help of Tom. It is based on the Dutch show Celebrity Splash which ABC inexplicably picked up not too long ago.
*Steve Harvey, host of Family Feud, was on The Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday talking about one of the craziest families he’s had to deal with. If you follow Feud on YouTube you may have seen it. Very funny segment from the show; check it out below.
*If we missed anything be sure to let us know.

I don’t understand the hype behind celebrities diving into water.
I know Dancing with the Stars is popular, but stop with the spinoffs. Remember when ABC tried Skating with the Stars, or something like that, and it failed miserably? That’s exactly what’s going to happen with Celebrity Splash. I’m surprised FOX is stupid enough to pick it up as well.
Ooh! Is it the one where someone says something about a private part or sex?
