Kimberly Boggess Wins $100,000 on “Wheel of Fortune”
Is there anything better on television than someone winning a jackpot on a game show? I don’t think so. The confetti fell on Wheel of Fortune last night. Congratulations to Kimberly Boggess, an environmental analyst from Sandyville, WV. Kimberly smoked the competition in the main game with $29,600 and was lucky enough to solve the bonus round puzzle for the $100,000 grand prize. In addition to cash she won a trip to New Orleans and St. Croix. Kimberly auditioned for the show in Cross Lanes, WV.
She took her opportunity on the show to travel across the country and take a dream vacation. Kimberly said, “We’ve always wanted to see the country so we drove all the way here from West Virginia!” She has a few more dream vacations to take now. She plans to take her friends and family out to a celebratory dinner with her winnings. About her win, Kimberly said, “I feel fantastic and relieved. I never thought I’d do this well!” She finished the show with a grand total of $129,600.
Kimberly was one of those contestants that, from the start of the show, you wanted to win. She was extremely excited to be there and looked like it the entire time, played the game well, and was a lot of fun to watch. Congratulations to Kimberly. Did you miss the big win? Take a look at it below.

Kimberly’s bonus puzzle was “Alive and Kicking”.

Nice story! One thought – if you’re already having us “Take a look at it below”, how about putting the solution below in the comments rather than in the main story, so that we might solve along if we haven’t seen the puzzle? Anyway, thanks for the post.
I moved it down in the post. Sorry about that. Thanks for the suggestion.
I knew this was going to happened just from your tweet last night….
I think this is the first time Jim’s announcing on the $100K has given me goosebumps.
Somehow the spirit of Charlie O’Donnell has resurfaced. If Jim does that for $100K, what would happen if the mega-large came up? As we all know, a few years ago Wheel joined the pantheon of game shows to have at least one millionaire come out of it. And it was Charlie O who bellowed out the big win.
Is it me, or does Joe look a little like Colin Mochrie?
Well done for her. Last season, it took until April to have a big win. I was worry we might not going to have a $100K win last season. At least it didn’t take this long for the milestone season to have a win. I had a feeling this 30th season is going to be good.
Oh man I missed this because I had class!!!!! But congrats to her!! Now I gots to wait till possibly December or till january for it to occur again!!!!
