If you fancy play poker to test your luck at gambling with money, or just want to play for free, visit Pokerstars today to see a list of available games to play.
Starting tomorrow, September 24th, Who Wants to be a Millionaire will be giving each contestant the chance to win $50,000 in just one question. The syndicated quiz show hosted by Meredith Vieira is launching its first “Double Your Money” week of the season. In these special shows one of the ten questions of Round One will randomly be labeled as a “Double Money” question. If the contestant correctly answers whatever amount behind the question will be doubled. This means it can range from $200 to a massive $50,000. However, if you Jump the Question, the doubled money is gone from play so contestants must decide if they are willing to give up a potential $50,000 or take a gamble that can pay off huge. Be on the lookout for at least one big win.
The show has provided us with a preview of the week. No spoilers are given so feel free to watch without risk of ruining anything. Excited for the special week of shows?

I really don’t like double money week. As Ed Toutant (millionaire winner from 2001) himself commented in a previous article, it basically discourages people from taking a risk in getting to Round 2 once they get the double money question. The only good thing about it to me is that audience questions are worth $2,000. I personally would much rather see another Disney Cruise week since every contestant who gets that question right gets the cruise guaranteed in addition to the $1,000 and every day an audience member gets a chance to win a cruise.
It is in reality a nice and helpful piece of information.
