“Celebrity Week” on “Millionaire” Kicks Off September 17th

Coming this Monday, September 17th, is the third annual Celebrity Week on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.  Meredith Vieira will welcome five celebrities to the set as they try to win the $1,000,000 prize for the Alzheimer’s Association.  The week airs in conjunction with Alzheimer’s Action Day on Friday, September 21st.  Millionaire has helped raise over $600,000 for the Association over the past few years and they’ll be trying to add hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions, to that next week.  Each celebrity is guaranteed $10,000.  However, last year, Anthony Anderson scooped up a $250,000 prize.  Can it happen again?

Celebrities playing Millionaire this week include Oscar winning actress Mo’Nique (September 17th), celebrity chef and television personality Paula Deen (September 18th/19th), actor and comedian Cheech Marin (September 19th/20th), television icon Jackée (September 20th), and Dancing With the Stars personality Tony Dovolani. We were on set for the week and a few games are very, very memorable.  You’ll want to watch out for Paula Deen’s game in particular.  We already showed you one clip exclusively on our Facebook page this morning.  Here’s another preview of her game.  There is a spoiler here showing what dollar value she gets to, but it doesn’t say if she goes further.  Take a look below.
