“Double Dare” Host Marc Summers Injured in Car Crash
TMZ is reporting that Double Dare host Marc Summers, now a Food Network personalty, injured himself last Friday in a car accident. Summers told TMZ he suffered multiple broken bones in his face after a wreck in Philadelphia. Emergency surgery was performed shortly after. Summers was riding in the back of a taxi when the car hydroplaned and lost control. He is out of the hospital right now and resting in his Philadelphia home. In addition to Double Dare, Marc Summers has hosted History IQ for for History Channel, WinTuition for GSN, and Unwrapped for Food Network. We hope Marc has a speedy recovery.

I really hope that Marc is alright and that he heals up soon. I bet he wishes the same thing. LOL!!!! I’m 26 and I remember watching Marc Summers on “Family Double Dare”. He has always been the reason why I have been watching game shows since i was able to walk and turn the tv set on. he used to be a page on “The Price is Right”. I’m not sure about the rest of you but i think that he should have been the host instead of Drew Carey. No offense to Drew or anything. But Marc just has the right personality for the show. anyways I wish all the best to Marc Summers and hope that he gets well soon. take care.
