In Remembrance: Andy Griffith’s “What’s My Line?” Appearances

As you may have heard, television icon Andy Griffith passed away this morning at the age of 86. Through his long career, he did not have much of a large presence in game shows but he did have a few highly entertaining appearances on one of my favorite game shows of all time, What’s My Line?, as the program’s weekly Mystery Guest.  We present to you three of these appearances: two during a time when he was mainly performing in New York stage plays and one in the midst of The Andy Griffith Show’s popularity.

These were funny! The last one was the best since he was, essentially, the leader of the Southern show popularity and they thought he was foreign! hahaha.

I’ve always lived in the South, so he and especially Griffith’s show were a big influence on people “down here.” He will be missed very dearly!
