GSN Reacquires “Dog Eat Dog” Reruns; Begins July 28th
This came out of no where. A favorite on GSN’s lineup, Dog Eat Dog, is coming back. The Brooke Burns hosted stunt/quiz show will return to the network starting Saturday, July 28th, at 1:00PM and 2:00PM ET. It will air Saturdays and Sundays at this time. Encores will air Saturdays at 3:00AM ET and Sundays at 2:00AM ET and 3:00AM ET. Dog Eat Dog ran for two series and 26 episodes starting in 2002. The show saw six contestants face off in a series of physical and mental challenges. The sole survivor would face off against the five losers for a winner-takes-all trivia battle worth $25,000. Dog Eat Dog was formerly a daily favorite on GSN’s lineup. This is the first time the show has been seen in years.
I was a very big fan of the show and still am. It’s something I felt GSN could always revive cheaply and it would do well. And hey, if nothing else, often semi-nude ladies and guys on GSN’s weekend lineup! That should appease practically everyone.
If only GSN could get the rights to the British version of Dog Eat Dog. That show proves well that “The British are better than us.”

Sometimes, not just semi-. They had at least a couple of events where you could earn another try by losing an article of clothing, and I distinctly remember one contestant giving her all. How I wished it had aired when I was 12.

someone went nude twice as I recall, a woman playing “strip quarterback” and a man playing “strip darts”. plus another woman did go topless during a playing of strip darts.
dog eat dog is an alright show, but the problem is it had a short run so you can’t re-run it very long before people get tired of it. GSN should revive it, a $25K top prize isn’t going to break GSN’s bank.
I also saw an episode where a guy played strip hangman and ripped up his underwear. I’m looking forward to seeing that again.

Looks like Regis WWTBAM is off the schedule after almost nine years on GSN.
don’t say that. Millionaire will probably stay. They haven’t shown Ed Toutant’s return episode yet, I don’t think.
If they can re-acquire Dog Eat Dog, then why not re-acquire Greed, or acquire Duel?
I miss Greed, and Duel was never shown on GSN, if I remember correctly. I missed practically all of the episodes of it. :(
if gsn can re-acquired re-runs of dog eat dog they should acquried the rights back to classic game shows

I really don’t like Dog Eat Dog. It’s got bad language and semi-nude people in it. Not a very good show. Hopefully GSN takes it off the schedule soon.
Oh My…. some advise for you would be…so you can do what others would do Tyler,,Change the channel….I have seen some cartoons and other programs that have worse words and vulgar material that I wonder why some networks put it on ..?…like it is something that someone thinks that our children should watch….for instance..spongebob square pants, Simpsons, etc..and even the commercials are not suitable for children to watch…
Dog Eat dog was interesting as far as stunt shows go…but it’s been rerun to death…Dunno of more reruns will help…but it’s afternoon so who knows,
As for Other shows…That’s a different issues and well YES…WAY too much feud…at LEAST bring back combs feud if you’re going to saturate with feud.
I was thoroughly disgusted . I happened to tune in because I love game shows. I was not prepared to see some stupid little girl naked in the middle of the afternoon. The host, also looiking trashy, mentioned that people will do anything for money. It’s people like you that are ruining our children. I taught for many years and know children well. What a horrible message you are giving them. Jeff Foxworthy shows promote education and values which no one associated with this show has. I hope it goed under and quickly before any more people see it. It is an embarrasment to our country. You are ruining our children and promote nothing of any value.

To see some adults having fun, competing in games what is the harm..? Embarrassment ,,,{,if you could spell it correctly..} to our country ? Really?? I am sure that there are many more things that would be put into that catagory you are just not pointing them out. Even the older game shows have cute but just on the line of being provocative.. I also know that other series and commercials are much worse than I have ever seen kids are not so sheltered in the schools or in their homes or the games they are allowed to play ..So I believe that Dog Eat Dog is a great game show that I would love to see come back. Kids get away with more at school than anyone knows. I love Jeff Foxworthy, Tim Allen Last Man Standing and Mike and Molly but they also do have some remarks that are funny with a hint of orneryness. BASICALLY JUST CHANGE THE CHANNEL AND LET EVERYONE ELSE HAVE THEIR OPINION AND LIKES AS WELL
