Fox Takes “Take Me Out” Back to Thursdays
Just as quickly as things change in the TV business, they can just as quickly go back to the way it was. We accurately reported yesterday that after slumping ratings, the George Lopez-hosted dating show Take Me Out was being moved to Saturday nights from its original Thursday night spot by Fox. After a surprising bump this week, the network is giving it a second chance and putting it back in its original time slot. The episodes of Mobbed that were to take its place will now air starting on Saturday, July 14th. This, of course, is always possible to change so keep with BuzzerBlog for the latest in knee-jerk network moves.

Wow. It’s last-minute decisions like these which make it hard to follow any program on FOX. This network changes its timeslots so frequently, even if they advertise a particular show as airing at a particular time, you can never trust them, as they often change their minds about their own schedule up until the last second.
Keeping Take Me Out for 3 more Thursdays isn’t going to change the ratings for the show. And moving it to Saturday nights would only make it worse.
FOX has always been, and always will be, a box of unanswered questions.
One of the many reasons I don’t watch that network anymore! Not since “24″ and “America’s Most Wanted” were cancelled anyway.
Well this is more interesting than Mobbed, IMHO.
Shame the ratings are very good. At least when it gets canceled we still have Paddy’s show going strong.
The ratings aren’t very good, I mean. Aren’t.
A rare switcharoo pulled by FOX. IMHO, The Choice should have be moved to Saturday. We all saw what FOX did to that J-Lo and Marc Anthony trainwreck Que Viva The Chosen when they moved it to Saturday.
george lopez makes take me out watchable
What? oh my god!
This show is an awful bad reality show ever. I heard the song Party In The USA by Miley Cyrus on the show, but I would like to hear the song in the World Series Of Poker ads on ESPN simply Titled “Poker Party In The USA”.
Actually I find it to be a harmless entertaining 60 minutes, unlike the painful Choice that follows. If Fox is parting ways after the initial run, this could be a cheap dating/game for GSN. Budget aside from Lopez must be minimal.
Take Me Out is HILARIOUS!!! Would you rather have people watching drunk idiots or desperate people trying to with the “NEXT” bachelor. They are real people with real personalities SOBER. LOPEZ is funny and it’s at an hour my 7 year old son watches tv with me. IT’S A SHOW PEOPLE CALL ALL ENJOY
And our hopes for The Chase getting green-lighted grow that much dimmer…
