“Fear Factor” Returns Tonight
Just when you thought NBC completely pulled the plug on it again, Fear Factor returns tonight with the brand new episode “Leeches & Shaved Heads & Tear Gas, Oh My!” This will be a two-part series with the first episode airing tonight at 8PM EST, and the concluding part airing next week, July 16. As of now, it looks like these are the only two scheduled episodes that NBC is planning to burn off from the new series.
These unaired episodes will finally see the light of day since the last aired episode was back in February. Most of you may remember that back in January, NBC had pulled an episode of Fear Factor because of a task the contestants had to compete in. The episode was entitled, “Hee Haw! Hee Haw!” which featured the players consuming donkey semen. The controversial episode has reportedly been seen overseas, but not in America.
Fear Factor originally aired between 2001 and 2006, and then was revived back in December 2011. Ever since the revival, ratings have dipped after each episode. Looks like this could be the last time we’ll see the Joe Rogan-hosted stunt show on NBC.

This is too much information no wonder nbc pulled it from the states airwaves heck i almost puked in my mouth from just reading this story. -.-
Does this mean that AGT, America’s Got Talent is officially moving to Tuesdays and Wednesdays? What kind of morons run NBC? Huh?
As of now, AGT will have the performances on Tuesday and the results on Wednesday.
And according to the ticket listings, it looks like that schedule will run through the remainder of the season.
I suspect the show would do tons better if it was actually wholly about fear, as opposed to having a third of it being about nausea.
Or maybe NBC should just color two feathers in that peacock logo beige and gray. After all, they seem to be contractually obligated to make at least 1/3rd of every show on the network unwatchably lame.
Ah the return of Fear Factor…Same douchebag contestants, same douchebag host. I would never have Joe host any of my game shows.
