“Deal or No Deal” Celebrates the Olympics With “Gold Medal Deal” Starting July 23rd

The 2012 Summer Olympics are right around the corner and Deal or No Deal will be celebrating the event in style.  Noel Edmonds will preside over a special week called “Gold Medal Deal” starting Monday, July 23rd, at 4:00PM UK (11:00AM ET) on Channel 4.  The set and contestants will be themed, in true Deal style, in cheesy Olympics fashion.  In addition the special catapult game comes back.  Contestants can elect to play the side game and get a ball into the bronze, silver, and gold rings.  Winning could mean a special holiday and the ability to go one box at a time.  Fail, though, and the Banker earns a big advantage by looking in your box.  Channel 4 has released a special trailer for the week.

What do you think?  Looks fun, doesn’t it?  Deal always puts on great themed weeks and this looks like no exception.
