Steve Harvey to Receive “Walk of Fame” Star
We’ve got a very quick but very good story for your Sunday morning. Comedian, radio and television personality, and popular host of Family Feud Steve Harvey will be receiving a star on the Walk of Fame in 2013. His upcoming induction was announced this past Friday by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. Other inductions include James Franco, Ron Howard, Jane Lynch, Katey Segal, and others. The date for the ceremony has not yet been announced. Congratulations to Steve.

nothing against Steve but the walk of fame has kinda lsot its prestige. there’s a lot of people on there that really don’t deserve to be. Steve isn’t one of them though, he’s done a lot of great things and deserves recognition. for instance, I don’t think katey Segal desrves to be there, not yet anyway.
Anyone else surprised that Ron Howard’s footprints weren’t already on the Walk of Fame?
Considering you don’t find one’s Footprints on the Walk of Fame, it’s not that surprising (You’re thinking of the Chinese Theater)
congrats to steve harvey in getting a star in the walk of fame.
although he’s still working in Atlanta.
Actually, anybody can have a star on the walk of fame…you just have to be willing to pay or raise enough money. Nothing prestigious about it.
Yes, I agree. It is not that prestigious. Someone has to pay the $30,000, either
Steve or the sponsor.
Has anyone noticed that fast money has gotten harder since Steve Harvey became host? Something tells me his salary (compared to John O’Hurley’s) is cutting into the show’s budget and thus they made fast money harder (with harder to understand questions and low-scoring top answers) so that it is only won once or twice a week. In fact, since he became host, I think only 2 or 3 families have won fast money more than once.
“2 or 3 families have won Fast Money more than once”?
Actually, more than once *per season*. But quite a number of families have won a car for winning 5 days in a row.
Steve Harvey is the man. He now has his own talk show in the fall of 2012. I would like to see Steve Harvey host an updated version of the classic game show Concentration that will air in syndication on most of the NBC owned stations in 2013. I also would love to see him in reruns of his sitcom The Steve Harvey Show on Nick at Nite in 2013. Best of luck Steve!
Steve likes to toot his own horn a lot. If you don’t believe me, listen to his radio show in the mornings. He is a little pompous.
