Channel 4 Picks Up NBCU’s “Baggage”
We’ve got an extreme rarity for these days…an American format is selling abroad. Channel 4 has picked up a series of the popular NBCU’s popular dating game show Baggage. The series is being produced through NBC Universal’s UK subsidiary Chocolate Media. Channel 4 first ordered a pilot of the Jerry Springer-hosted game in February. The series will run in primetime on 4, so some changes to fit the hour-long game, compared to the current syndicated 30 minute edition, may be coming. A host has not yet been named. Baggage sees three contestants reveal increasingly big baggage from their lives in an attempt to earn a date. Baggage ran on GSN for four seasons and is entering syndication this Fall.
Here’s a recent episode of the show. Excited about seeing it?

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like
you wrote the book in it or something. I think that
you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a
bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A fantastic read.
I will definitely be back.
