Behind the Scenes of Fox’s “Take Me Out”
Fox’s newest game, the studio-based dating show Take Me Out, is debuting very soon. The George Lopez hosted show starts Thursday, June 7th, at 8:00PM. On the show thirty single women (the “Flirty Thirty”) have their choice of various men. If a woman is interested, she can stay in the game. However, if she isn’t, she can hit her button, her light goes out, and she’s out of that round. Women can stay on as long as they want. The bachelor and the final single lady (if any remain at all) will go on a romantic fantasy date. Fox has uploaded several videos of the show which we’ll be showing to you over the next few days.
Here’s the first one. It’s a behind the scenes look at the show. What do you think? Excited to see it?

It has potentail, just based on the UK version that’s been featured here. Might be more excited if someone other that George Lopez was hosting, but what’r'ya gonna do?
Glad to see they’re using the same set and music as the UK show. A
Hopefully, FOX has learmed from it’s Million Dollar Money Drop fiasco and not try to screw up winning formulas. As for Lopez, I think he has the right amount of leer for this. Would like to see samples of the finished product before jusdging though.
The UK was awesome and look how well it did. I can bet it will be funnier in the US
With Mr. Lopez at the help instead of Paddy? I sincerely doubt it.
It’s always interesting to see how game shows work behind the scenes in pre-taping. As I said before, I’ll watch it, but I’m concerned about George Lopez hosting it. Not sure if he’s the right fit.
Take Me Out is on the same network as Million Dollar Money drop – and it’s being run by the same executive producer.
However, Take Me Out is not produced by Endemol.
