This Week in UK Game Shows
It has been an eventful seven days over the pond in the UK. This week had the second week of Deal or No Deal live with all games being broadcast live on Channel 4. There have also been straight faces and and high risks The Chase.
First we have Sunday’s Deal or No Deal Live which featured contestant Kevin. The live shows are played the same as the recorded shows with some differences. The box openers are a mixture of friends and family for that player and former contestants from past shows. With some who played their show as far back as 2006. The live specials also had special guests who opened their box. Namely, McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Harry Potter star Oliver Phelps. Since the show is done live, a clock is used to indicate how much time they have to complete their game. We pick up the action at the five box stage.
Next we have The Chase. The latest series has produced many records, amusing questions and with a new Chaser as well. We will feature more on The Sinnerman over the weekend. Monday’s episode featured a question asking a certain sportswoman. As you will see below, Bradley Walsh and Anne Hegerty tried to keep a straight face.
While on the subject of records. Wednesday’s episode produced another record for the show. Adam is the final contestant and faces The Beast.

Thanks for these British clips as this is the only way I can see this stuff.
Try downloading Expat Shield. It’s a program that lets you temporarily change your IP address to that of a United Kingdom address, so you can watch the programs on the BBC iPlayer and iTVPlayer websites. That’s how I’m able to watch full episodes of The Cube, Red or Black, Secret Fortune and High Stakes. :)
Not only that, but both ITV and BBC’s websites allow you to stream television live. Believe me, that program is beyond awesome.
I was wondering when you were going to talk about Kevin’s game. It has been easily the best of the bunch and

It made me leap out of my seat in that thrilling finish. Also, my favorite part was Noel running around at the end trying to get the game completed.
